Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME)

🏛️ Description

The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) is the nodal ministry of the Government of India for policy formulation, promotion, and development of India’s MSME sector. It drives entrepreneurship, skilling, technology upgradation, market access, and access to credit so that micro and small businesses can start, grow, and compete—creating jobs and supporting inclusive, regionally balanced growth.

The Ministry delivers support through dedicated departments, development institutes, technology centres, and national missions, while simplifying compliance via portals such as Udyam Registration, CHAMPIONS, and delayed-payment resolution under MSME Samadhaan.
