🏛️ Description
The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) is a key ministry of the Government of India responsible for poverty alleviation, social inclusion, and sustainable livelihood development in rural India. It aims to empower rural communities through employment generation, housing, infrastructure, and social welfare programs to ensure inclusive and equitable growth.
The Ministry works in close coordination with State Governments, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), NGOs, and other stakeholders to implement flagship schemes that improve the quality of life and economic well-being of rural citizens.
