
Shri Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, born on 25 November 1960 in Buldhana, Maharashtra, is a senior Shiv Sena leader and the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH and Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare in the Government of India since 10 June 2024. A four-time Member of Parliament and former Maharashtra Minister, he is the political head of the Ministry of AYUSH, leading Indiaβs efforts to integrate traditional systems with modern healthcare and expand the global reach of Ayurveda, Yoga, and natural wellness.
