What Is NIN Pune?
The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN) is the apex national institute for education, training, research, and public outreach in Naturopathy and Yoga, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
The institute serves as a Centre of Excellence for promoting a drugless, natural, and preventive system of healthcare, combining traditional Indian wisdom with modern scientific approaches.
In simple words —
NIN Pune is India’s national home for Nature Cure — a place where healing begins with simplicity, self-discipline, and harmony with nature.

Historical Note:
NIN functions from the same building (Bapu Bhavan) where Mahatma Gandhi practiced and propagated Nature Cure between 1944–1946. His desk and treatment room are preserved as a National Heritage Site.
