Internship Programs

Practical Exposure in Ayurveda Research and Healthcare

Introduction

The Ministry of Ayush and its apex research body, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), offer structured Internship Programs to help students and young professionals gain hands-on experience in Ayurveda research, clinical practice, and field operations.

These internships bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world practice — giving participants exposure to government research projects, Ayurvedic hospitals, wellness centres, and digital health systems.

  • To provide practical training in Ayurvedic clinical care and research methodology.
  • To nurture young talent and inspire future careers in Ayush sciences.
  • To enable students to work directly with scientists, doctors, and project teams at CCRAS institutes.
  • To promote interdisciplinary learning between Ayurveda, life sciences, biotechnology, and data analysis.
  • To familiarise interns with the functioning of national research councils and Ayush digital platforms.
