Shri Bhagirath Choudhary

Shri Bhagirath Choudhary is a Bharatiya Janata Party leader from Rajasthan, born on 16 June 1954 in Ajmer district. He served as a Member of the Rajasthan Assembly (2013–2018) representing Kishangarh, then moved to national politics by winning the Lok Sabha seat from Ajmer in 2019. He chaired the Parliamentary Committee on Environment (2015–17) and, following the 2024 general elections, was appointed Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in the Government of India, bringing Rajasthan’s rural voice to the national agricultural agenda.
