1. What Are AYUSH Public Health Projects?

Public Health Projects under AYUSH are nationwide programs to prevent disease, promote wellness, and integrate AYUSH systems with mainstream care. They focus on community health, lifestyle disease management, nutrition, mental well-being, and preventive medicine—rooted in traditional knowledge and modern science.

In simple words: Large-scale programs using Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy to build healthier communities and reduce preventable diseases.
