About the Scheme
The National e-Governance Plan in Agriculture (NeGPA) aims to digitally empower farmers by providing timely, location-specific, and actionable information through modern ICT (Information and Communication Technology) tools.
Initially launched as a pilot project in 7 States, NeGPA has since evolved into a pan-India initiative under the Digital India programme, integrating all agricultural services into a unified digital ecosystem.
Goal: To make agriculture smart, transparent, and efficient through the use of digital technologies, ensuring that farmers access real-time data, advisory, and government services seamlessly.
