🏛️ About the Scheme
The Scheme for Integrated Textile Parks (SITP) was launched to strengthen India’s textile infrastructure by establishing world-class industrial parks equipped with modern facilities, utilities, and testing centers for the textile value chain.
The goal is to attract private investment, create employment opportunities, and boost exports through integrated cluster-based development.
Each park functions under a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) — a registered company comprising representatives from local industries, financial institutions, and state and central government agencies.
Under the scheme, the Government of India provides financial assistance up to 40% of the project cost, subject to a ceiling of ₹40 crore per park. For projects in North-Eastern and hill states (including J&K, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh), the government support can reach 90% of the project cost.

- To encourage private investment in the textile sector.
- To create direct and indirect employment in manufacturing and allied services.
- To ensure environmentally sustainable and socially compliant industrial clusters.
- To improve exports and competitiveness of Indian textiles in global markets.
Application Window
- Open throughout the year for eligible SPVs.
- Projects reviewed quarterly by the Project Approval Committee (PAC).
- Implementation duration: 36 months from the first fund release.
