🏛️ Description
The Ministry of Steel is a key ministry under the Government of India responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies related to the growth, development, and regulation of India’s steel industry. It plays a vital role in ensuring raw material security, promoting research and innovation, and enabling sustainable and globally competitive steel production in India.
The Ministry works to strengthen domestic manufacturing, attract investment, and make India a hub for high-quality and green steel production under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the National Steel Policy 2017.
